FoxBansheeRacing
What do the head and cylinders need to be torqued at? Do the intakes need to be torqued as well? Thanks for any help
.
head and cylinders to 20 ft lbs. You're not gonna be able to get a torque wrench on 2 of the cylinder bolts I believe so feel how much pull you have on the other ones with the torque wrench and then just use a wrench and give it about the same pull. You wanna do it in 3 increments 10, 15, and then 20. With the reedcages just tighten down good in a criss cross pattern, I'm sure there's a torque specification for them, but I've never used it. Aussie Quad Racer
there is torque specs for almost all the bolts but if your experianced with torquing bolt and nuts by hand you get a feel for how much is too much and vice versa. I work on cars all day long so i have a good feel for how much to tighten bolts. The only thing i use a torque wrench on is the head.
