Ducman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I don't have very much experience with hi revs but I think the cpi would be my first choise since they typically do good with porting which you want to get in the future and a very close second place to the T-5's since they are also decent w/porting. T-5's would probably be a better choise now, CPI's later. Pic mods so they work with future plans so you don't have to take steps backwards. Quote
sredish Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 If it was me, I'd go for the newer T-6 pipes. They are similar to the T-5s except they help a tad lower in the powerband. They're not mid pipes, but they pull a little earlier. If I must choose from the list, with your mods, the T-5s have my vote. I'll vote that. If it was strictly duning, I'd say Toomey all the way. I'm not a big Toomey fan cause I like midrange pipes, but if I was to stay in the sand, I'd have some Toomeys. Like Ducman said, start porting and the CPIs may be a better choice, I don't know. Quote
Just for fun Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 CPI. No doubt. Good on a stock bike, outstanding on a ported bike. Quote
reas11 Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 e. none of the above go for shearer drag or inframes.. Quote
