onebanshee
I use to go to the dunes with a buddy who had a 330ex, and I would always get stuck on his girlfriends quad a 250ex, it was ok in the dunes as long as you never left 3rd gear, anyway onetime we were at the dunes (in wyoming) and we were looking at this steep ass hill, my buddy was considering it on his, well as we were standing there this guy comes up on a banshee and he starts talking to us asking us if we are gonna shoot the hill, we both backed down and said we wanted to see him do it, he had a modded shee, every thing you can do he did, and he shoots the hill and starts to wheely up it, after that I was in love. I got a shee about a year later, and now when we go to the dunes my buddy can only get about half way up some hills that i am shifting into third-fourth gear. ledofthezep
I grew up on the dunes, ever since I 1st saw a banshee when I was just a little guy on my trusty old trx125 I always said I would have me one. My parents wouldn't ever budge & buy me one....so as soon as I got a job & could get a loan from the bank, I had me a banshee.
BansheeBrian
Have not ridden a quad in 14 years and my brother got a shee when he lived in N.H. I went up to see him and he said to take it for a ride.I thought the thing was uncontrolable. That's what i liked about it. Same year of 02 I sent a check to him for 5200 and told him to get me one.Now It's my favorite hobby other than weightlifting.
blk02banshee
I was at a friend's house in michigan, around 88 or 89, when I first saw a banshee. it was love at first site/sound. i wanted one ever since then, and could'nt afford one, so i got a blaster. Rode that for a while, then one day I was flying across a bridge, and this dude passed me on a wheelie on a banshee, and then followed me to my riding spot. He let me ride it, and I knew that I HAD to have one. After getting turned down by crediters at least 2 dozen times, I finally got mine in october 2001. BansheeJerry
I had been out of the atv scene since I was 13 around 1984 because I was riding with a friend of mine and watched him flip over and kill himself. Yep right before my eyes people so I sold my new Suzuki 125 trike... Fast forward to last year.. My sister in law wanted to know if I knew anybody who wanted to take over the payments on a quad she had bought brand new for her 12 year old son. I figured if it was for a 12 year old it wouldnt be anything I would be interested in... Anyway... I figured I would look at it anyway because I missed riding atvs. Needless to say after about 5 mins of riding this "crazy blue Yamaha"I knew I had to have this thing... I never knew what a banshee was when I bought my shee. I knew it was faster than I thought any atv should be.. So that was it for me...Hooked...Now I am the proud owner of my 2000 banshee. Needless to say (anybody who has been paying any attention to me since I have joined knows..) I caught the bug and have been modding her since about the first month I bought her. When I bought it I couldnt imagine ANYBODY wanting anymore power than this thing already has... You all know the rest of the story and can certainally relate.. theeechozen1
I was watching a crusty's video a long time ago, not sure witch one, and some guy flips a bitch at the top of a dune and rides the wheelie down half the hill on a shee, ever since I had always wanted one. Now that I have one I can't ever see getting rid of her.

Wassup350
I knew my uncle had a banshee since he bought it brand new in 87. I didn't really ever see him drive it because he never had time to with his job and all, so it just sat in my grandma shed for years. I started to get into fourwheeling and read magazines and they had some good stuff about banshees in em and banshees were all over the magazines for ads and stuff. Well i was like wow my uncle has one of them it must be pretty good. One day i decided to get er running and put some fresh gas in it. It hadn't been runnin in like 7 years or more, i started it in 2 kicks! i was like holy shit that sounds good. i started riding it around and as soon as i hit the powerband on it i was like WOW!!! I was very hooked after that and decided to buy it off of him for 1250.
Holyman
I got out of the ATV scene in around 87 after a knee injury and then my ATC250R got wrecked. I didn't have the money to fix it and then I got married in 90. In 2000, afterhaving a good job for a while and having a close friend who is into waverunners for a while, I told him to buy an ATV so at least he could ride it 3 seasons and save the waverunners for the summer. We did a bunch of research on which ones to buy. I knew I wanted something with speed and I wanted a 2 stroke because of the ease of rebuilds when needed. {I've had dozens of bikes and trikes and there nothing worse than a 4 stroke that needs a rebuild}. I knew I didn't want a quadzilla just too hard to get parts for. I had a 250R back in the day and knew it was a good engine but I didn't want to spend retail for a 10 year old quad. So I found me a 99 banshee with T5's and some other mods for $4200. SOLD Since the summer of 2000 I've had a total of 5 banshees, 1 blaster and 2 trailblazers. I've also got 2 RZ engines in case the 95 or the 99 need a transplant. So for my money, it will ALWAYS be a Banshee
frocashmoney24
well, i always heard about the banshee legend, and hearing one scream down the road was like a slice of heaven, so when i saw one in the paper for 2200 i was like ah better go take a look, i took it and road it, hit the powerband and i was hooked, got it home and found out that the whole thing was a lemon, since then ive put 2500 or more into it and now its my baby for life
