cotton133
I recently purchased a banshee that had not been cranked in about six months. I have gotten it running but it hates to crank when it is cold. The only way I can get it to start when it is cold is to leave the choke off, and hold the throttle about half way open. Usually when it does start to turn over, gas pours out of the right cylinder exhaust. When it finally starts to run it sounds like only the left side is running for a few seconds then it starts to run and idle fine. There are no problems if I cut it off and try to crank it again while it is warm. I am pretty sure that it is carburetor related but I don't have very much experience with them. Any ideas on what I should try to fix this? I am running the stock carbs.

boonman
SOunds like the carbs need a litle attention. Make sure the left carb has 2 brass tubes in it. What is the jetting. it could be lean on the pilot jet....
