tacoking
Question, I want to make my banshee handle better. By making it wider it should be more stable. I had another quad and to make it wider I simply turned the front wheels inside out so the wheels stuck out further. It was on a blaster that had steel wheels. I also put 1.5" extenders on the rear and it handled 10 times better. Can I do this with the banshee rear wheels. Only problems is that the scrader valve will be on the inside and need to make sure it doesn't hit anything. Is there any problems with the strength of the wheel being mounted in reverse? It looks like it will make the back end about 3-4" wider.
ruff_rida69
when i got my banshee it had all the wheels turned around, but if you turn the front wheels around you'll have to take it to a tire shop and get them to drill new valve stem holes, and then they'll turn your old valve stems inside out "where the valve stem is in the inside of the tire, I turned mine back around because of XC but I loved it when they were turned around I could go around any curve wide open, hope this helps
tacoking
cool, Yeah I tried to flip the fronts but the stem hit the brake or something. Ill put some spacers on the front to balance it out.
