boonman
Just be careful what you load. I had to clean up my cousin's computer because they infected her computer almost worse than the pop ups themselves. The adaware is what I run. It works damn good. Cleans shit out. I was sick of the save pop ups. Pissed me off. After adaware, no more...
fixitrod
Okay, you can run the free version of adaware from lavasoft to help clean up the internet spywear and adware they the web sited dump on your pc. A really effective free pop-up blocker is by downloading the google toolbar. I love it. It has a lot of features that don't use many resources of the pc. Get yours here http://toolbar.google.com/. Make sure you read about all the features. It will scan web pages for text, high light words your looking for, autofill name and adress. You'll love it once you get use to it. jumpman23
i would suggest downloading spybot search and destroy. i found it to be better than lavasoft but that is my opinion. here is a link you can go to and just click download on the left hand part of the page. let me know if you have any questions. ledofthezep
Go this link & 'download it' - save it to your computer, then install & run the program. Works kinda like an anti-virus program in the way it works, but doesn't do crap for viruses. It does work well for removing spyware & adware though....which is most likely to cause a lot of your pop-ups. http://www.ad-aware.com

Wallrat
I run both ad aware and spybot. Both are free and no matter which one I run first, the other always finds something the other one missed. Download em both. Its free. mrmatt
I just installed adaware. It significantly reduced the number of pop-ups that appear. But I still get a few. I guess I'll have to try spybot as well.
efward
Zone Alarm personal firewall also has capability to block pop ups. Works great.
