raxen
I'm going for a Ph.d or doctorate whatever you want to call it these days. Nuclear Engineering Thesis: The Effect of Localized flow on Reactor Pressure Vessel Induced by Irradiation. What it involves: Finite Element Modeling using ABAQUS/ANSY/PATRAN with user subroutines to correctly model the stresses. Utilizing MCNP5 to correctly model the neutron interactions to the vessel. I like it. It involves alot of math, mostly partial differential equations and stochastic mathematics.
ledofthezep
Finite Element Modeling using ABAQUS/ANSY/PATRAN with user subroutines to correctly model the stresses. Utilizing MCNP5 to correctly model the neutron interactions to the vessel. Uh Hu... It involves alot of math, mostly partial differential equations and stochastic mathematics. Exactly why that chit's not for me! I'm mathematically retarded. Speaking of tards.... Not intending to offend anyone.

It is a bit more expensive also, but that is ok all of my class transferred over so i will start in 3 weeks
J-Madd
I just received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree last year. Not exactly a Doctorate, but good enough for me. (And so far plenty of $$$$$$$$$$$$)
Cotton eyed Joe
I got a masters of Pimpin. Thats about it. The parents gave me the option of part of the family business or 4 years of college. They didn't even get the whole sentence out of their mouths before I answered. My wife is getting a bachelors in accounting, and then eventually her masters and CPA. Its a lot of tough work for her, but its opening doors for her carrer, and ultimately, my happiness. A buddy of mine has his bachelors in business admin, and he got a massive pay raise from his work. As soon as he completes his masters I think he'll make nearly twice per year what I do.
