Stiff Thumb Throttle

If it seems to be stiffer than normal. Take the cover off the thumb throttle and inspect it for dirt/sand. There is a drainhole in there that allow crud to get in there and then ends up going down your cable. If there is lots of crud in there, remove your cables and douch with carb cleaner (or replace). Then seal up that hole with shoe goo or silicon.

I took a dremel with a sand paper wheel or grinding stone to the outside edge of the spring from top to bottom to thin the spring out.  some people also cut their springs down.

how many winds would i have to cut to feel a difference and actually be oon the safe side?

My Banshee has given me thumb cramps every since I bought it. I called cascadeinnovations.com & bought an xtra long billet lever. Looks cool & helped a ton. $35
