RANCHEE Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 I'm in the process of installing the action a-arms (new 04 version) and they fit great but the description said no spindle reaming required. the balljoint pins for the heim joints definately do not fit in the spindles. they were also the wrong color and took 23 days to get but whos counting. Does any body have any information on where to get a reamer or other ways to handle this problem. Thanks Quote

RANCHEE Posted March 3, 2004 Report Posted March 3, 2004 I got the arms installed and found the spindles did not need reamed. the threads were just a little rougher and would not quite go in the hole unless helped. action sent me a new set and they went in the hole but looked identical so it was a very slight difference. I am now trying to figure out why the left upper control arm is just touching the spring when extended. that is when the shock is at outer (lowered) position. which only made about an inch of difference in ride height. I got my 1st test ride through the big desert whoops and it handled them good. Quote
wheeleymaster99 Posted March 7, 2004 Report Posted March 7, 2004 well i finaly got mine on they all went on fine had no problems what so ever and my upper a-arms are also very cloce to the springs Quote
