Bensshee
I need help gearing my bike for ice drags. I am estimating around 80 horse out of my 434cc motor. The strip is about 600 feet, what gears should I run?
NYUK
as tall as the bike will pull. 80 hp should have no problem pulling an 18 tooth front on ice.
Southside Motorsports
i run the same rear sproket as i do for sand with 16 tooth front sprocket.....and i am running around 90 hp. It seems to work the best out of all the gears for that long of a drag. (not to much gear but not to little.) I am just shifting into 6th gear when i cross the finish line. By the way....when are you ice dragging at ?? I ice drag at anchor bay, MI and Albright Shores, MI and acassionally on the black river in Port Huron, MI.
