Fox73-Zz
While I have my new Pivot Works front wheel bearings out, I thought I would measure them, and get part numbers for anybody who is interisted. Bearings- Deep groove ball bearings, single row Inner-- 6004-(add description from below) size: 20x42x12 Outer-- 6202-(add description from below) size: 15x35x11 Descriptions-- The suffix on the size describes anything special about the bearings. Here are the relevent descriptions from www.sfk.com RS1 Synthetic rubber seal (NBR rubbing seal) with sheet steel reinforcement at one side of bearing RZ Low friction, synthetic rubber seal (NBR rubbing seal) with sheet steel reinforcement at one side of bearing 2RS1 RS1 seal at both sides of bearing 2RZ RZ seal at both sides of bearing C3 Radial internal clearance greater than Normal Both of the Pivot Works bearings had 2rsc3, but the SFK product guide doesn't have any c3's listed for that size, so it may not matter. If you are going to put a zerk fitting in your hub (or your carrier, it goes for that too), you can buy RS1 or RZ1 and only have 1 seal on the bearing, instead of 2 seals if you buy 2RS1 or 2RZ1. Seals:CR radial shaft seals Inner-- size: 25x42x7 SFK part: CR25x42x7 HMS4R Outer-- size: 22x35x7 SFK part: CR22x35x7 HMSA7R It may be cheaper just to buy a pivot works set, but there is the info for anybody who may want it.
