I had a buddy that had a 420 kit and it over heated all the time. The other problem with them is that you have to put a bigger sleeve in the stock cylinder which makes the transfer ports smaller. I would have to aggree with passion saying that a stroker would get you more power and you will not have to buy a 300 dollar radiator too.

I'm in the same boat I sucked a ring and need a crank and top end rebuild.  Is it better to get a 4 mm stroker or a long rod set up?

I don't think a long rod setup enhances performance, just reliability. The 4mm stroker would be the way to go for more power. In fact you can mix the two and have the best of both worlds like a Weisco Hot Rods 4mm Long Rod Stroker Crank. B)

if you do that do you have to get special pistons or just whatever you would use on a longrod set-up? What kind of displacement whould that give you? I need to call one of these shops that sells the parts and order it all at once and make sure it all works together...

i dont understand why everyone talks shit about trinity and doesn't like it..

my 420 longrod beats everything ive raced out here and at silver lakes...except a banshee with a street bike motor in it
