First Time Rejetting

it is my first time rejetting my carbs, i have no idea what im doing, but im gonna try to do it do it, can someone help me here. when i pull the carbs, do they come out linked together some how ,and if so do i have to seperate them somehow, and to get to main jets, do i have to pull off the float bowls and shit. THen i wanna know how hard should i screw in the main jets, like reallly realllly tight or snug, and then the big quetion for me, how the hell do u re sync the caarbs, i read the jettting help think here on the hq site but i do not understand it

They are only connected by the choke tube and fuel line. Take off the vents in back, choke tube, and fuel line and disconnect from boots. Yes the main is in the float bowl, when you take it out don't loose the brass washer under it. Don't over tighten, just snug will do. If you need more help ask, all is willing to help.

to sync the carbs just take the air filter off. Look into the airbox and you'll see the slides. When you push the throttle ( engine off) you will see the slides raise. They should raise at the exact same time. If the do not, adjust the screw on one of the carbs. It's the screw on the big box that's on the carbs. Once you have them lifting exactly at the same time, they are synced. Now, if the idle is to high or low.. use the same screws and turn them the exact same amount... this is just to set the idle. If you turn them the same amount, the carbs stay synced.
