spoin39
They are only connected by the choke tube and fuel line. Take off the vents in back, choke tube, and fuel line and disconnect from boots. Yes the main is in the float bowl, when you take it out don't loose the brass washer under it. Don't over tighten, just snug will do. If you need more help ask, all is willing to help.
fixitrod
to sync the carbs just take the air filter off. Look into the airbox and you'll see the slides. When you push the throttle ( engine off) you will see the slides raise. They should raise at the exact same time. If the do not, adjust the screw on one of the carbs. It's the screw on the big box that's on the carbs. Once you have them lifting exactly at the same time, they are synced. Now, if the idle is to high or low.. use the same screws and turn them the exact same amount... this is just to set the idle. If you turn them the same amount, the carbs stay synced. Spoin covered the rest.
sweetshee4312
i do not have tors on my carbs, so do i did not ever see a big black box thing, and are they supposed to raise to ne certain hight, like what if they dont riaise all teh way or lower all the way, do u know what im saying
fixitrod
Then use the adjuster on the carb tops to sync them and the idle screws on the side for the idle.... that's it. Same principle
spoin39
Adjust like rod said by the little nuts on top of cap, if they don't go up or down all the way either you put them in backwards or there is something in the bore.
