Wallrat
I understand the principles involved in each and that you can only go so far with either method before you can't run pump gas anymore. My question is, what kind of power difference would you get with each? For me being at sea level, I can only go down to 20cc domes or so with a +4 advance before I might run into detonation problems. So would it be better to keep the stock timing and get smaller domes?

I don't think you could gain that going from 21cc to 20cc...though I could be wrong....Good question..
banshee tuner
I did my +4 with stock pipes and did not feel the difference. now i have pipes and a few other mods the advance helps. i spent 35 bucks on getting the head shaved and it made a big difference on bottom end. Justintoxicated
I would do both and mix 50/50 with some
