jonnyrebel2004
I have a 2001 Banshee. I was wondering how much difference it would make by replacing the stock front shocks? I just got the quad so I have not really go into jumping it yet, but I prolly will sooner or later. What would be the best to replace them with, how much do they cost, and where can I get them? Thanks
locogato11283
well we really need to know what you plan to do with your banshee. any aftermarket shocks are better than the stock ones. works, ohlins, elkas, axis are all shocks that you could consider. most of the works are decently priced but i dont think you would wanna ride mx with them. elkas are pretty popular now. thats what i have. i paid 850 for a set that are fully adjustable, dual rate, and have piggyback rezzies. RMATV sells works if you would want them. otherwise pick up a Dirtwheels and look thru the ads.
jonnyrebel2004
I plan to ride mostly trail and dirt roads, but I will go to the river and Little Sahara some, so I will prolly do some small jumps, but nothing major, at Little Sahara, but other than that just riding around the house. Knowing this what do you think would be best for me? Thanks
spoin39
Works would be a good choice, inexpensive, rebuildable and way better than stock. As far as not good for MX, I have used them for 8yrs and even though I only do 8-10 races a year they have held up good. There is a 75ft. triple that is out of a corner that only 3 people on quads do and I'm one of them so they aren't too bad! But, I did have them revalved by TCS.
