Yes I have the shocks and a arms. The a arms take a little work. The problem is the bottom arms are spread apart to much. Cant bend them so they have to be cut on the t part right after the weld. You can either weld the part cut off to the other side or cut it with the sleve inside and add washers in the gap on the inside. The top a arms fit perfect but have to be reversed. Meaning right side on left and left on right. There is a brace welded on the inside top arm that goes on the back instead on the 450 its on the front. Adding washers only takes up space taking away. So when the nut is tighten down it doesnt squash the tab toward the T part of the arm. Yamaha uses the same width mounts on top and bottom so the same bolt is used on all bikes. The problem is the mounts are in different locations.  Dont forget to use a pickle fork to seperate the old ball joints.  The 450 tie rods must be used because the 450 a arms put the tire's geometery 2 1/4 out and 5/8 foward. The stock rods are far to short.

Got pics?

I think it went from "lets fit yfz450 shocks on a banshee" to "lets fit every fucking thing from a yfz450 to a banshee"

shocks are ok because its very minimal work but god damn, all this fabrication and shit to a set of a-arms? The arms probably costed about 200$, plus the work and materials and time? Then if you bend or brake one you cant just simply order one or two(or maybe you will) but you are gonna have re-make the entire fucking thing.

sorry but its pointless in my eyes

while I can see your point Eric, I dont entirely agree. Personally I like to fab stuff and tinker. Really though with all the access I have to tooling an machinery a little cutting and welding isnt that big of a deal. Now if you have to pay sombody else, then yeah it isnt worth it.

Calm your dumbass down, all I said is that its a lot of work.

200$ for the arms

one of them breaks?

200$ for another set of arms and all that damn work all over.

The 450 shocks is a simple grind and they go right in, the 450 arms are not a damn simple grind by any means. If you are an "A" rider, then why the hell are you wasting your time trying to make arms from a different bike with different geometry fit your Banshee? Stop bullshitting the bullshitter ok. We are all waiting for pictures too
