I just talked my dad into spending 2500$ on a quad for me...I was wondering if anyone could suggest anything that is good i could get for this price. Thx. pb_fanatic Posted January 18, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2004 I want to ride around my house on small trails and on the street and shit but I also wanna go into the dunes which are fun to do...I dont know much about em cept names but my dads freind knows everything and would fix it if anything went wrong for next to free. Could you tell me if a banshee rides well in the snow cuz for three months ina year i got snow and wouldnt wanna stop riding for it either. thx. locogato11283 Posted January 18, 2004 Report Share Posted January 18, 2004 no they are not very good in the snow. however, if you put some chains on them or possibly some mud tires it will go. 4 strokes i think are way better in the snow. banshees are way too snappy even in stock form for snow. but what i did is welded some 520 chain to some steel wheels and made some crazy ass tires. they hook up like no other.
