I run Series 2000 at a 50:1 ratio.

If you are using Amsoil 100to 1 ,I always run this at 80:1 ratio in a banshee.

As far as performance , I have no complaints , doesn't load up , never fouled a plug and engines have been carbon free.

How do you guys know how to mix the 100:1? my 5$ ratio Rite cup only goes to like 72:1.....fucking rip off, and how much are you paying for a quart or a gallon? I want to switch from Castor 927 to something else thats easier to find in Orlando

I run the 2000 at 50 to 1 in 5 bikes from a bone stock, to a full stage IV bike with no oil related problems at all. My group has almost stopped buying new spark plugs and our oil cost has dropped a bunch from Clotz or Yamalube. Amsoil it the best change I have made in thest bikes yet. As for how I mix it, 13 oz in a 5 gal jug of gas. I don't even use a mix-rite any more, I just use the marks on the side of the quart. As for price, I am paying about $70 a case. Try it, and I think you will like it. Good luck.

For a 100:1 ratio you can figure it and just use the oz. measure on your ratio cup.

to figure ratio :

1 gallon of gas (128ozs.) divide by 100 (ratio) = 1.28 ozs. of oil to 1 gal of fuel

Then take 1.28 ozs. x number of gal of fuel to mix .= total oil needed.

ex: 1.28ozs. x4 = 5.12 ozs. to 4 gallons of gas.

I run 80:1 and I have no problems to report. I rode the other day in 20 degreee weather for hours with no jetting changes and still ran great.

I use the 100:1 oil and pour 1 bottle in with 5 gallons. No ratio right, just pour, fill and go.

I can send you a bottle to try if you want :)

I use 100:1 mixed at 85:1. Just use the scale on the back of the bottle to mix it. When you fill your gas can get exactly 1,2,or 5 gals. or whatever then mix according to the scale on the back. The cost is very reasonable and well worth it. even if it cost twice as much the cost would be the same since you are using half as much as any other brand to do the same job!

i'm a happy amsoil user as well. when i use up the three quarts of 50:1 i have left i'm going to try the 100:1 mixed at 80:1 for starters. i like the fact of using less oil with the same or better protection than the standard two stroke oils. less chance of fouling plugs(never happens) and longer life for my silencer packing.

I have to agree with Holyman on the ease of use .

The 100to 1 can be purchased in 8oz. bottles , when poured in 5 gal. of gas comes out to 80:1 ratio.

Amsoil 100to1 used at 80:1 ratio cost about 60 cents (per gal. of gas)to mix.

Amsoil 2000 used at 50:1 ratio cost about 75 cents (per gal. of gas) to mix.

Anyone interested in trying it should get a hold of "Holyman " he will get you fixed up.
