evil
GREAT DEAL, POWDER COAT WILL COST NO MORE THEN 50 BUCKS AND A BALLJOINT WILL COST ABOUT 30. ON SOME ARMS THAT COST ABOUT 600 NEW, YOU GOT A GREAT DEAL
01bansheefox
very cool, thanks. Sense they are already chrome and in great condition except one is peeling- how much does it cost to rechrome it? that possible?
erbilabuc
I think that..... If you bought them for the fact of having chrome arms you got a good deal but..... If you bought them to have +2+1's it is an ok deal

If you bought them to have +2+1's it is an ok deal why, please explain. thanks because if he bought them for the fact to have +2+1's then he has to replace a ball joint which to me would make them less valuable (to me). The fact that one ball joint is gone kind of makes me skeptical about the rest of them. So spend 300$ , then 30$ for the balljoint when you get it and hope the others are ok and not be covered under any warrnty or spend between 400-475$ get a brand new set with a warranty. If you average out the extra 150$ (worst case scenario) for a new set, over a period of five years(he might not keep it this long or might keep it longer) it ends up being more cost effective to of bought a new set. erbilabuc
I got this from the website. Ok it doesnt cover the ball joints but i does cover bending or breaking of the arms. Its 535$ total if you want them chromed. Warranty isnt necessary but its just one of those "just in case things". He got them to have chrome so he got a pretty good deal. I know its a big difference between 330$ and 535$ but the one arm is peeling so thats an extra 45$ to do, so this brings it to 375$ Compare 375$ to 535$, now there is still the matter of the other 3 ball joints and their condition. Wether or not you like Janssen doesnt matter, I am quoting the closest looking arms to what he has. Im not bashing him but he did ask us for our opinion on wether it was a good deal or not. "Janssen Motorsports Factory Pro A-Arms are constructed from 4130 chromoly steel with a .095 sidewall thickness. These A-Arms feature replaceable oversized automotive type ball joints and durable delrin pivot bushings. Factory Pro A-Arms have adjustable camber to fine tune your machines handling. Factory Pro A-Arms come with Janssens unique FULL LIFE-TIME WARRANTY against bending or breaking. This warranty excludes the ball joint. Factory Pro A-Arms are available in the following offsets for Yamaha Banshee applications: std, +1,+1, +2,+1. Factory Pro A-Arms are available in the following powder-coat color options standard color: black special order: hammer-tone gray, blue, red, triple plate show chrome (add $150)"
evil
ok dude, here we go, first off, your comparing lonestar to janssen. janssen is a much smaller company that will stand by its customer, lonestar has been at it and to them these arms are a dime a dozen, they dont give a damn what you do, there in it to get paid. and do. now go to www.lsracing.com and check out their prices, whole nother ball game there. so my piont being, if he got LONESTAR a arms for that price, he got a killer deal. if he were to get janssen arms and have to spend more to repair and replace them, then to get a new set, then we all would be hammering on him. erbilabuc
So Lonestar is just at it for the money you're saying? Just a question but lets say I was in the market for new a-arms, if Lonestar doesnt offer a warranty and others like Janssen do: then why should I pick Lonestar?
