shortys racing Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 what is good jetting for a shee with fmf pipes and silencers and what are good air filters 32.5 pilots, 320 mains w/open aircleaners (sea level) Quote
Ducman Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 For FMF Gnarleys or Fattys with a proflow foam air filter setup and keeping the airbox lid on and removing the snorkle. Jetting is #30 pilots, air screws 2.5 turns out, needles in stock position (middle clip), #260 mains. If you remove the air box lid then use #280 mains. Foam filters aren't as high flowing as K&N's which nets a little less performance, but work much better/more reliable in mud, water, and dusty conditions. Quote
efward Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 95% dunes. Sea level. FMF SST & powercore II. Airbox run without lid. K&N with outerwear. 330 mains. Quote
