mrmatt
I plan to extend a swingarm for the bhq roostfest but I don't want to have to change brake lines. So how many inches can I add? Thanks

Meat
I have a +2 stainless steel brake line. I'll trade ya if you got a standard length or negative length stainless steel line.
SDD
Depends on if you have a stock type extended swingarm or a round housing and what kind of brake line you have. A stainless brake line (stock length) will work with a +4 round housing and maybe a +2 stock carrier.
Leadfoot350
You can use a stock length line up to +6.

mrmatt
I have a +2 stainless steel brake line. I'll trade ya if you got a standard length or negative length stainless steel line.. Thanks for the offer, but I plan to reinstall my shortened swingarm when I get back East. Thanks for the replies. I can't see 6" of extra length in my hose. Maybe your set up is a little different leadfoot. But it sounds like +2 is a safe bet.
Oilsmoke
My swingarm it stock extended to 4.25 inch longer than stock, Rear line is just barely long enough. Say 4 inch max to be safe.
Meat
Where the best place online to buy custom length brake lines ??
locogato11283
when i put my +2 eyeball swing arm on, i ended up having more brake line than with the stock swingarm. it all depends on where the caliper sits. with my new swingarm the caliper sits more on top of the rotor. you can easily go 2 inches. RockyMountainATV has std to +6 JamesLuckyATV has std to +8 (I bet if you called they would hook you up. I've had great results working with them.) LoneStar should be able to hook you up as well.
