brock_fuzzy_69
i woud put it on an old "bubble balancer" or go buy a cheap one those are the tripod style wheel balancers taht you set teh wheel on top of and line up the bubble style level in teh center of it then use soms stick on wheel wheights for race car slicks check out someplace like jc whitney for a cheapy blancer like that one or a plce like harbor freight

Stuff
If you placed the studs evenly all the way around the tread it seems to me that it shouldn't cause a problem. Could it possibly be something else like the tire's bead not seating all the way??? May something inside the tire itself.....water or a chunk of dirt? FORMULASPEED
the beads are all good and in place. I just had the tires mounted. I have 16 oz of slime in each one. I ve used it before and never had a problem.
Banchetta
I guarantee the slime is your problem...If you don't run the shee long enough after you put the slime in, then it hardens on one side of the tire....You have to ride around for the slime to evenly spread out.....I've never had a balancing problem from studding...A good way to balance is too fill a tub of water and put the tire in it. The heavier side will face down......
Stuff
Agreed with Banchetta, 16oz. of slime settled in one spot would cause any wheel to be unbalanced. With that much slime I bet its hard to even hold on!!
Klotz
try one stud per knob..thats what i did i was doing wheelies
erbilabuc
16 ounces of slime is your problem, that is a lot to be using in any situation. You need to get that stuff out of there and patch the tire or plug it.

Klotz Posted on Jan 13 2004, 02:24 AM try one stud per knob..thats what i did i was doing wheelies 1 stud per nobby I tried that last year it didnt do much . I can see doin that on a set of chin shen tires theres more nobbys than razrs. doltz
You should have lined your tires with old carpet or duct tape & ran tubes. Ice picks in the back are better then kold kutters also more hook less BS & youcan make a nice even pattern.
boonman
16 oz of slime is recommended on the bottle. Indeed it may be the recommended amount. However, if it hardens in one spot, than you have about 10 ounces at least on ONE side of the tire. Not a good thing..... Guaranteed that is the balancing problem.....
