spoin39
I change mine about every 20 hrs.+ or -. Use a good oil that is made for trans in a 2-stroke. I like REDLINE LIGHTWEIGHT SHOCK PROOF gear oil myself but any good trans oil is OK.
stials11
BEL-RAY 80WT is a really good brand to use along with all there other products. It's a little more spendy but quality is always worth it in the end.
evil
every 16 hours of riding, figure i go out every sunday, hammer down for at least 8 hours of riding at a time then change it out and keep going. im with stials, i use bel ray gear saver 80 wt. i figure i have that much money in a motor, the added extra cost is worth it. FoxBansheeRacing
Would any gas station have that or would I have to get it or order it from my dealer? I think the guy that had my Banshee before me always ran AmsOil.

rebelbanshee2
I used ATF (make sure its type F) once becasue i knew i was going to be tearing down after the ride and its only like a buck a quart. it shifted pretty slick with it but it needs to be changed after every ride, doesnt hold up well. I normaly use golden spectro 80w change it every 15-20 hours.

Oilsmoke
I think it's Wise to Change your Oil after every Good ride. A wet clutch lasts longer with good fresh oil!!!!! -------------------- -Backcountry "Ride hard, Ride often" I can't agree more, Nothing beats Clean Motor oil . The cost is right too. I use Castrol GTX 10/40. I used motor oil of over 30 Year
