Blue Duece
your stock ones should work on the exaust manifold
Tim C
FMF sells a kit that has new springs and O-rings in it that you should be able to get from a dealer that sells FMF. As for the the rubber seal between the pipe and silencer get SILICONE HEATER HOSE - any parts store that sells parts for big trucks should have it. evil
you can get the pipe couplings anywhere in any style you want, plain black or polished blingy if you like, i prefer the stock rubber ones being the pipe and silencer are hidden by the back plastics, but thats on you if you want the expensive ones about 80 bucks i think. as far as the flange seal, check any shop that carries fmf or order it from chapperal like mentioned above. later
Ducman
As for the the rubber seal between the pipe and silencer get SILICONE HEATER HOSE - any parts store that sells parts for big trucks should have it. My stock pipe clamp for the pipe to silencer connection also didn't fit good at all on my FMF Gnarlies. I like the suggestion quoted, and its almost free. I just run mine w/o a clamp. Looks cleaner because the FMF connection isn't hidden by the plastic and it seems to leak very little, definitely not enough to make a diference. I don't even notice my leak anymore and it has been decreasing over time with carbon and oil build-up.
Justintoxicated
the only problem with heater hose is liek the stock crap they use it breaks down quickly and will begine to leak, nothing like ending up with oil all over you and your plastics I'd go for a billet clamp, I have had goo luck with the one pice O-ring connections, but others may suggest something else. You should be able to get the Orings for the Fattys where they attach to the engine at any local ATV shop. Pickup a better air filter and some jets while your there if you have not already.
