Lifting And Weight Training

Recommended Posts

bodybuilding is 30% weight training and 70% diet and rest. if you are just getting

started, you can generally expect to make great gains for about the first 4-8

weeks and it is not uncommon for ones strength on movements to double in this

time period. after that, results will taper off. you body will adapt to a threshold of

resistance in that time and it will then be important for you to change your training

around to continue to gain. constant feeding is the key to gaining muscle and losing fat, along with sufficient resistance training to stimulate growth. constant feeding simply put, is eating 6 small meals a day with healthy snacks in between instead of 3 fat ass meals with ho ho's for snacks. with out adequate rest, recovery and diet, you will eventually "overtrain" and when this happens, you will probably loose muscle instead of gain it, no matter how hard you try. when overtrained,

your hormone system will be adversely affected which basically means your

natural "steroids" will be gone. set and rep range is pretty much common knowledge so i wont get into that. workout hard (and dont forget your

cardio) but make sure you get adequate rest and recovery as well as

proper nutrition.

And a little Deca and a small stack never hurt's either, lol Their are some really good legal steriod type drugs on the market that will get you off to a good start, if i remember right it's www.anabolics.com I feel that this type of gain at an increased pace at first will keep more guys into working out being that they can physically see a difference. You could take the real steriods and gain 30 pounds in a cycle but I wouldnt recomend it at all. And if you ask 20 guys about their diet ,you will get 23 answers, best rule of thumb is eat smart and often. I have one friend that's 6'6" and 313 pounds that compete's professionally and he eats 13 meals a day and honestly more than I could eat in 3 days, he eats eggs raw by the half dozen and eats more bakes potatoes than I would ever think of, but it's like this, keep it simple and dont bite off more than you can chew and get burned out right off the bat. I know i probably didnt do you any good but good luck to you and may the muscle grow by the pound.

180, and can lift 360 holf shit bro!

When I worked up to 190 my max was like 2 45's on each side, 1 Rep lol *(i did this once)

But im 6 foot and kinda skinny, or I was, I stopped going now im gainging weight somewhere else. I wish I could get back into it like HS and first years of college...i guess I could if I stopped doing all my other hobbies. Just don't have the time right now, But I think im starting to look like shit again (muscle wise)

It helps to work out when riding a shee and riding other things too ;) GF's take up alot of time also, they woudl rather hang out than go to the gym with ya...I really need to cancel my membership I have been paying for 2 years now and only gone a handful of times lol..After a 10 hour day I just wanna go home, work on the shee, or play the computer or hang with my girl and what not, I just can't do it anymore. I'd probably have sever shakes even lifting the 45's a few time now lol.

I heard creatine was bad for you, of course I used it when I started anyways... cause I was a skinny bastard, but eventually I stopped, if you do take it make sure to drink TONS of watter.
