trayfoe
I would like to go glammis this year or next and was wondering the cheapest way for me and probably two or three friends to get ourselves and our shees there? Any ideas?
got1banshee
Geo Metro aka Chevy Metro around 50 miles to the gallon!!!!!!!! You can strap the shees to the top haha
evil
1. ride them here with a red wagon full of gas cans and premix hitched to the grab bar 2. rent a u hall and stow away like your being smugled in 3. hitch hiking is always safe 4. build a raft out of phone poles and float it from the florida key to san diego and take the trails the rest of the way, youll still need that wagon of gas 5. find some rich broads it dosent matter how you get here as long as you do once in your life. later
cam2
The u-haul deal that evil had mentioned doesn’t sound like a bad idea. A few of my friends and I had talked about renting a motor home and a large trailer and driving straight through by taking turns driving. It would most likely cost more than a u-haul but would definitely be more comfortable and make for a better trip. We’ll probably make a trip up to the silver lake sand dunes in Michigan as a trial run before we try to make that long trip to glamis from Tampa. boonman
About $2500 to rent that Uhaul
efward
I say use your own car (or one of your buddies - anything with a hitch) and borrow a 20ft. flatbed trailer. Load the bikes on, and pack it full of gas and camping gear. By "camping gear" I mean several coolers filled with beer and ice. Take up a collection for gas money, then take $10 out of that fund, put it in an envelope, write "INSURANCE" on the front of it and tape the envelope to the dashboard of the car. Get a listing of campgrounds along your route and go. It's worth it.

LMAO For $2500 you could probably have the quads shipped & find some cheap plane tickets...
trayfoe
By "camping gear" I mean several coolers filled with beer and ice. That is the true meaning of camping gear! I am probablt going to check into an RV or U-haul, we could use the box to store the banshee's and as shelter to sleep, cause there is no damn way traveling across the US I will not sleep with my shee evey night. p8121
buy an old school bus, rip out the seats load up the quads, some sleeping matts (or whatever) and beer and go. you can buy a decent used school bus for 1,500 or less thats a grand less than the U-haul deal. when your done sell it for scrap metal, or you could sell it to a homeless guy.
