banshee1999 Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 I bought a banshee over the summer and it came with CPI pipes and fmf silencers and I was wondering if it would be worth it to go with a matching set, like getting CPI silencers or a full brand new exhaust system? I’ve heard that the fmf are too restrictive for the CPI pipes but I’d rather not spend money if it won’t make much of a difference. Quote
gusto Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 I believe the OD of the FMF stingers are smaller than the CPI. I think CPI stingers are 1 1/8 OD……if I’m remembering correctly Quote
banshee1999 Posted October 6 Author Report Posted October 6 I don’t fully remember before I took it all apart how it fit but it definitely fit together before, maybe not very tight though. I’m more worried about power loss than anything Quote
gusto Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 If your motor is not a cub, and under 400cc it won’t really matter Quote
skeeter86 Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 If you're asking about this, on here. Power loss is least of your future worries. Quote
kawa110 Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 Is there any advantage to mix matching any brand expansion chambers and any brand silencers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
