No Spark

OK if the stator and pickup coil are within resistance specs, you can either test the coil with an ohmmeter or have a shop bench test it (usually free). Then trace the wiring harness and make sure that all the connectors are tight and no wires have rubbed against the frame and grounded out. Don't worry about the lighting system (voltage regulator, yellow wire from stator, light switch, etc.) for now, concentrate on the ignition system. Double check the key and handlebar kill switch; make sure they're "on" and the connectors are tight. After that, pretty much all that's left is the CDI, and the only way to test it is to swap in a known working one...
