Jetting For K&n W/snorkel Removed?

i bought a K&n power kit on ebay and it came with stage 3 jetting.

i think this mite be to much for my almost stock shee.the jetting kit came w/270 and 280 mains and new needles.

i am at about 750' with the snorkel removed and 200 mains

where should i start with mains and should i use the needles that came w the kit or the stockers?

What pipes are you running?

the only upgrade i have is a cool head and i dont think it makes a dif

If all you are going to do is install the K&N filter and keep everything else the same you could keep the stock needles and bump your mains up to 230-240 and to a plug check from there. Save those larger mains and aftermarket needles until you get some pipes other than stock.

sounds like a good idea i have 220 and 240's ill give them a try
