got1banshee Posted January 3, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2004 Ok I down loaded the pic. from my cam. to the desktop. I then typed the message that I was going to post. I then opened the pic and right clicked and copied the url then I opened bansheehq back up and clicked on the IMG button and right clicked again and pasted the URL in the box and click ok and thats it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

STLBILL Posted January 4, 2004 Report Share Posted January 4, 2004 Hi guys: You cannot post images from your desktop. You need a place to store the picture on the Internet. It cannot be uploaded to BansheeHQ from your Windows Desktop as it could to an e-mail message for example. This problem can be reproduced by placing "c:\test.jpg" in the popup box that appears after you click the IMG button when composing a message. The problem can be corrected by adding code to verify "ftp://" or "http://" is the first 6 or 7 characters of the input text. Posted January 5, 2004 Report Share Posted January 5, 2004 if its less than 50kb (you can right click on the picture and check properties to see how big it is) you can post it down at the bottom of your reply page theres a browse button. You can post it in there. Using the Img tag you'll need to host it somewhere. Preferably imagestation. After its all posted on imagestation, click on the picture to bring it up on its own page, use that url, just delete the .orig.jpg or it wont post Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
