dirtclod20
I bought this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...0&ed=1072225384 and I recieved it yesterday, but the carb number starts off with a S46 telling me it's a 33pwk instead of a 35. I've not yet heard anything back from the seller about this, but what options do I have. I know the 33 is supposed to be better for my none ported shee, but if I wanted a 33 I would have bought one. I'd rather have a 33 over duals, what would you guys do in my shoes. Marc
Toomey Banshee
Advise the buyer. If no response contact e-bay. Did you use pay pal? If so contact them as well. I had a similar experience but with a much less expensive item and contacted these two and my money was credited back to my account.
ruff_rida69
you never know it could of been an honest mistake, but i would contact the seller and see if you can get your money back, and then if he doesn't want to give you your money back then i would contact e-bay. dirtclod20
Regardless, 310 is a decent deal for what I recieved. I'm not mad with what I got and really don't want to send it back, I just feel like I deserve some type of retribution. What kind, not real sure, and I believe you could be right about it being an honest mistake. I'll keep you posted on his plans for resolving this issue. Thanks for your help, input, and responses. dirtclod20
He emailed me back and told me he was selling it for a friend of his. How coincidental huh! Does everyone think that the 33 best for a unported motor? If so, I may just tell the fella to be more careful about misprinted items when posting them on ebay. ruff_rida69
yea I've heard that the 33mm kit is better for unported motors with mild bolt-ons, and the 35mm will work best on ported motors, and if you do get it ported all you have to do is pick a bigger carb and get it.
