01bansheefox
I dont know jack really about performance parts but what would be better for my money and also performance. I thought I have heard some suped stock parts are better than aftermarket, could be wrong. Shaved stock head or aftermarket one? Dont know what its called but doing something to your stock carbs, or just get bigger ones.
ruff_rida69
well shaving your head is cheaper, but you could look into noss head which have better cooling and you can change the domes to any size, anytime you want, as long as you get the right octane to support the higher compression, and i think you mean boring your carbs, i think you can bore them out to a max of 28mm "not sure" or you can spend more money "probley bout $250 more" depending on the size of new carbs you want, but shaving your stock head, and getting your carbs bored would be the way to go if your low on cash. Oilsmoke
I agree on both. Used pipes in great shape are good value too.

Big Blue
no when you bore the carbs you are opening the diameter from front to back.
