DeuceRooster
Okay here is a challenge for all the HQ members. You have a brand new Banshee all stock you have $1500 in your pocket and want to suprise some Big Bore 4-stroke guys with a stock looking Shee to prove that what you see is not always what you get. The engine must remain stock in apperance other than maybe switching to a single carb (basically no bright polished finish cylinders or anything that would give away the mods) You may use any tires you want and any exhaust you wish but remember to include them in the price of the mods which cannot total over $1500 Let's Go!! Indubitably
OK lets try this used T-3's cut'em $120 Full drag port, shave head, new pistons, weld crank $900 (all labor done by owner) used intake tract from ebay w/ 35mm pwk's, billet intakes, fmf ram valve's, & spacers $220 cut fenders and take off useless stuff freebie and drop 20 lb's have swingarm extended $75 finally buy some paddles off of ebay $150 for scat trac haulers total $1465 and bike that is faster than mine
BdBanshee
I have modified my wifes 1990 Banshee by milling the head .030", advancing the timing 5 degrees, and lightening the flywheel (Total cost = $160 plus shipping). Other than a K&N filter in the stock airbox this motor is totally stock (Probably time for a top end job after 13 years of riding). While at Little Sahara I sometimes take her quad out to the drags and have never been beaten by a 4 stroke. At the end of the drags nobody can believe that a stock pipe Banshee smoked them! I haven't had a chance to race the new YFZ450 so I am talking about Raptors and DS650s.

Big Blue
pingle is a petcock for the gas tank that is pretty much required to run alky due to amount of flow required to feed the motor. not really sure how else to explain it. theeechozen1
I think Id go with the following: 4mm crank...500.00 porting for stroker crank...220.00 flatslides...200.00 blast-turd pistons...110.00 pipes...400.00 boonmans shaved head mod...50.00 gaskets...30.00 bud light...30.00 should be a haul ass bike, but after all said and fired up your cost would prolly be around 2k for odds and ins
