hang1p400 Posted January 2, 2004 Report Share Posted January 2, 2004 went to dayton this past weekend it was about 55 degrees and there were some sick hills but the place was empty, banchetta where were ya. i heard that noah was down to ldr machine looking to get some work done so he can beat the infamous 370r!!!! ldr did my machine work and he did a awesome job and he is good to deal with. My cousin went down there on his Polaris and said he seen you there and talked to you....I should have went. I want to go down there today, but my knee is all messed up..... Noah is putting in a stroker motor, that 370 won't be much for him.....my shee will be underway this week, so this will be an interesting year to come..... I don't know about one in the pit, but there is a track built about 1 mile from the pit....The guy built it for his son who's around 12 and races dirt bikes....pretty impressive track.... He originally wanted $200/year to ride the track even in the winter, we can take the sleds on it!!!! I just heard a few weeks ago that he decided to charge by the day also now...$20/day....well worth it...the track has a couple of 90' doubles and a lot of great table tops...He designed the track for a 85cc 2-stroke dirt bike at a more advanced level which makes a perfect track for ATV's......... I had ny engine totaly rebuilt by dan from Patroit racing and turned into a 4mm stroker 420cc I am just trying to make it pretty with new +2 a-arms and a fresh powdercoated frame with brand new mud sharks on the rearMy buddy todd with the honda ct350r is getting his ride reported correctly CT sucks . Never been there, so that'd be cool...I heard there is a lot of sleds that go there so we usually go to Fort Kent or Greenville area...I was actually on the computer the other day looking for camps, etc to stay at...We found one that was $90/night and holds up to 5 people ....2 Queen size beds and a cot...Has a kitchenette and everything...Have you checked out any others?? chase73 Posted January 16, 2004 Report Share Posted January 16, 2004 I am trying to figure out if it will be possable to get everything in order for a trip to dumont I have to get my bike back together and test it and make sure jetting is ok and then get a pair of sand tires and a longer swingarm but , I am trying heehhehe as for to much power with the 420 cc stroker my ride has new skins and -2 swingarm so it hooks up hard and with the stroker it should have a lot of bottom end can't wait to ride her and get a few races in>i am thinking a bigger gas tank is going to have to be added Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
