Louis
I painted the frame on my Yamaha banshee so I took everything apart, when I put it together I started it and it instantly sores to full throttle. It ran perfect before I took it apart I really doubt it’s a vacuum leak maybe I screwed up something with the wiring like a ground but I doubt that too. It’s also not the throttle slides their in the correct position and don’t get stuck. What should I check next?
375hp banshees
If your slides are all the way down, do a leak down test.
hoppedupandcutdown
forgetting the choke cross over hose can cause that.
375hp banshees
I wondered if that would...usually it wont start 2 find out
Louis
The slides weren’t adjusted properly that’s what caused the idle issue but now the quad kicks back at me hard when I try to start it. did I screw up the wiring? The timing is at 0 and the carbs are in sink so maybe it’s a ground causing this the only ground that I messed with is the one on the voltage regulator some help would be great.
