Ebe313
Have a 87 banshee that I just rebuilt has a misfire at idle on the left cylinder. Seems to clear up once it hits the power band then start to smoke a lot more on deceleration. (Significantly more oil comes out of the left pipe) I have switched reed cages, spark plugs, spark plug wires from one side to the other, did a compression test and it checks out good, problem stays on left side. My banshee has a 2-1 trinity intake could this be a carb jetting issue? Read somewhere on a forum that fixing the pilot jet on a 2-1 fixed a similar problem. Jereme6655
Have you done a leak down test on the cylinders? Does it idle better with the choke on vs off? What were your compression numbers?
Ebe313
Both cylinders were about 130 I have not done a leak down test.
