murder_banshee Posted December 8, 2022 Report Posted December 8, 2022 Hey guys, looking to upgrade the brakes on my banshee. Decided to go with 08 YFZ 450 calipers and master cylinder for the front brakes and looking for a rear upgrade. What do you guys recommend in the rear as far as caliper/master clyinder goes?? thanks Quote
pk31337 Posted December 8, 2022 Report Posted December 8, 2022 I've honestly never had a problem stopping my banshee or felt like I needed more braking power. Maybe better tires/paddles, but otherwise, I feel like you're just upgrading for looks. Get a nice looking high quality rotor, paint the caliper if you want, steel lines. I'd say that's money better spent. Trails and desert riding for me... Maybe mx or other use case has different thoughts on this? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk 1 Quote
kawa110 Posted December 9, 2022 Report Posted December 9, 2022 Agreed. Stopping power All in the tires ability to grab the surface. Just for looks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Tedder Posted December 9, 2022 Report Posted December 9, 2022 Agree X 3 At 125+ on asphalt OEM 's have always stopped me just fine. Spend your money on chassis or performance upgrades that will make a difference. 1 Quote
