Nighty
Will the yfz450 A-arms fit a banshee? And whats the difference?
bronco91shee
the 450 arms DO NOT FIT. i have talked to many ppl who say no. As to the shocks, does the raptor rear work better than the shee? Why did u put it on? Just curious. Peace out.
2001SSTBanshee
I've heard of people doing this with sucess. I've only bottomed my front end on my 450 one time and that was really my own fault. People with 450's are probably selling them because they are making a move like me and going for the long travel front end.

erbilabuc
Since the same questions keep getting asked and the same answers are given and then still people are arguing with me Im going to say this. Yes the a-arms will transfer over Yes the front shocks will transfer over Yes the rear shock will transfer over
banshee_rider95
i put the raptor shock on my banshee cuz my stock one was pretty bad off....its not as stiff and it makes the rearend sit up alot higher....i think it looks better... river runner
The bottom of the shock of yfz looks different! Are you sure it will work?
oldbanshee
Ok I got mine installed, but there is 2-3 feet of snow everywhere here. Can't tell you how they work, until it warms up again outside. I had to grind the half moons on the bottom a-arms, and trim the upper shock mouts a little bit. They went on ok,took about an hour. erbilabuc
OldBanshee: did you notice an increase in ride height? like maybe an inch at the most?
oldbanshee
About 1 inch, I don't think it looks that bad. I have them set up on the stiff side(208lbs without gear on), I think you could adjust them to sag a bit more. They are really nice shocks, beefier then the works I just installed on my modded warrior. I can't wait to ride the shee and see how they work. Derisi can make them dual or tripple rate with zps I believe. But I should be able to adjust them to my liking as they are for now. IF you can get a set of these for 250 or less, they are well worth it people. After all,not everyone can beg mom or dad to spend big bucks on a new set of pep's or elka's. But if your a rich guy your options are usually open anyways
erbilabuc
i noticed the 1 inch rise also but seemingly they sag down to the normal height my works were. They are definitely beefier then the works and the fact that they are adjustable made me want to try them. I didnt want to spend 700$ on new shocks so I tried these. oldbanshee
The shocks actually evened out the front end with the rear. I think they are more then worth the little bit of grinding it took to put them on there. Bike guys just have there stock forks and shocks reworked by factory connection, pro circuit ect. Hopefully 4 wheelers will be taking this route also. It's way cheaper then buying a whole new set of shocks. That last comment wasn't aimed at you, just the people that were spamming up your thread earlier. Don't forget, works shocks can also be upgraded and turned into zps shocks also for around 300. But there were a bunch of litte flamers saying that all works shocks are cheap junk also......................... Hmmmm makes a person think doesn't it. I can't wait to get on the bike and try em out, some different wheels and ricky stator tie rods, and I'll be ready for some hard spring and summer riding on the shee. sredish
Now you tell me, after I've spent all that money on the Elkas. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep my old beater Elkas. Seriously, that sounds like a cool idea, if only there was a way to extend the upper shock mount to allow the bike to droop a little more in the front.
