kmaster9751 Posted November 28, 2022 Report Share Posted November 28, 2022 hey guys! went out on the shee today and unfortunatly blew up the top end at least i hope thats all thats wrong havent opened it up yet but i just did a bottom end job on it and put in a hot rods stock stroke crank so hopefully its still okay... anyways i wanna rebuild it with the 370cc Athena big bore kit and wanted some feedback on what jetting i should run elevation: 1200 stock carbs with 260 mains stock pilot (i forget what size) toomey t5 pipes k&n pod filters vforce4 reeds i believe im running 0 degrees timing ill have to check my timing plate when i get into it but any info on what you guys think i should be running with the new top end would be greatly appreciated!! kmaster9751 Posted November 28, 2022 Author Report Share Posted November 28, 2022 i thought athena was a good brand to go with but ill check out driveline as well. tore it down today and actually found that the right piston rod is seized as well i can only assume because of the grenading of the right cylinder..... looks like a full tear down and rebuild is in my future......
