Need Help!

I'm trading off my 2nd shee tomorrow. Well I can't get the POS to start, I haven't had it started since the clutch went out on it. Now I can't get it to fire. It's got 150lbs compression on each cylinder, is getting fire & fuel but isn't firing up. Any suggestions? I just need to be able to start the fucker when I get to the dealership(4hrs away) Could I use some starting fluid? Think it would help...would I spray it in the cylinders or what? My foot's blistered from kicking the damn thing soo much. And I can't pull start it because the clutch is toast. <_<

Starting fluid would be a bad idea. It immediately washes the oil off the parts that need the oil. But, you are trading it in, so, I guess you could try it. I am thinking your carbs may be gumed up. What oil do you use? Like meat said, fuel delivery could be a problem. I would not stop at draining the carbs. I would pull them off and clean them. The pilot jets could be shitted up. And new plugs could help like mentioned as well......

Right on, thanks guys. I'll pull the carb off & clean the shit out of it, throw in some new plugs & go from there. Shee's getting fuel & spark. I'm wondering if the length of the carb intake is causing any problems. I don't know...but I do know that I've got to get it running. Oh yeah,...I'm mixing 927 @ 40:1.

I used to start mine with starting fluid all the time. If I let it sit it would never start by kicking it alone and I couldn't push start it. Also one thing to remeber is that alot of two-stroke premix's fall out of suspension and will actually accumulate in the carb bowls. It might be a good idea to drain the bowls and shake the tank a bunch. Good luck
