illboogie
there is only one real way to pull whellies on a banshee and that is by putting your feet on the rear bar behind the seat and standing up as the front wheels lift, works every time dude that is the gayest way to pull a wheelie klotz being tht you spin try not dumping the clutch but more of a slipping it out until you feel it start pullin then yank back and give it some gas. low900rr
I want to see some video of that. I'm not a believer that you can even bring it going 85. You say its all in the throttle, must really rev out far. What pipes and gearing? To go 125 on a shee you have to have some real tall gearing unless you have one of them new 7 speed banshees. Put up a video and I'll believe it.
Cotton eyed Joe
i recently had a 400ex....highly moded..and i was awesome at wheelies on there....they were so darn easy...now i have a banshee with the mods below....and im having problems doing wheelies...obveously its harder to do them with the power band...but wheelies are so much fun and look great.,...does any one have any tips for me what i can do too improve or make them better for me..thanksshane cut your swing arm 2 inches they are fairly easy to pull and balance...... i can ride along at 85mph snap my throttle and balance one up to about 125mph.....but then it gets windy and i have to back off You're crazy I wheelie by dropping down into around 2nd or 3rd gear, and I get the engine just barely into the powerband, because I'm gonna need that acceleration to twist me up into a wheelie. I nail the gas WFO, and kind of tug on the bars. It helps to find that spot on the seat where it will come up easily, but not so easy that you are eating your gas tank. Then as it comes up (quite quicly) I let off a little and its mostly blipping the throttle and when it feels like its coming over on top of me, I slam the rear brakes and down it goes. Try them on a hill too. Lots of fun there.

raxen
I didn't feel like starting another tithead incident on you...so I stuck with "What type of time, distance does it take you to get to 125mph." I am glad tithead is gone somewhere else now. Well, anyway still you have a nice motor in that beast.

spoin39
Try using the clutch to maintain the wheelie, for me it's easier than using the throttle, especially if your doin 125mph like blueduece, can you teach me how to ride one that fast on my ZX-9? raxen
A stock ZX-9 probably doesn't have the power to pull and ride out a wheelie past 3rd gear but the larger kawiis can do that choir with a breeze. What is the gearing like on your ZX? A 100mph wheelie should be a breeze with it though.
