Sleeves5150 Posted August 24, 2022 Report Posted August 24, 2022 So here’s what I have: 1998 with the 4mil 421 assassin from Vito’s. V force 4 reeds Mikuni TM square slide 34mm carbs with T5 exhaust. The carbs are jetted at 30 pilot 380 main. Coolhead 24mmdomes and dual k&n style filters. It kicks right over first go but idles a bit funny. Compression is good no leaks. Low to mid range runs like crap and my plugs are wet even at idle. My needles are at mid notch. All my electrical has been tested and is good. My air adjust screws are one to one and a half turns out and it still slugs around like it can’t make power? Do I start with my pilot and size it down or should I do the main as well. Plugs are clean with a bit of back at the tip and on the porcelain but very wet. Lmk please before I go tearing this down again Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 27, 2022 Report Posted August 27, 2022 Drop the main to a 300. That 380 is way too big. Pilot shouldn’t be a 27.5 or the 30. Quote
