BansheeJerry
I am an inexperienced rider and I will be straight about that, but I still managed to whip some ass yesterday. Raced a few z-400s and a modded 400ex. Believe it or not the modded 400ex didnt put up as much as a fight as the stock z-400s. A friend of the guy with the 400ex was riding a 300ex and he said the guy with the 400ex had around $2,000 in mods. Personally I tought he was full of $hitt and I told him that if I had a 400ex with that much money into it and get beat by an inexperienced rider on a banshee with the mods I have I would set the 400ex on fire. The owner of the 400ex never said such a thing but I know he had a pipe, nerfs and graphics. Anyway now for the good stuff!! I cant launch my shee. I started out in first in each race and either popped the front up (hit second while still in the air) ,got out of the powerband or spun. My tires are stock 2000 model year and are pretty bad. I am scared of wheelies because I am a sissy I guess. I feel comfortable riding wheelies on my buddies z-400 but not the shee. I kind of like having the front end on the ground or within 3 feet of the ground on the shee... Anyway basically with the 400ex he got me on the launch everytime by about 2 quads but by the time I hit 3rd or 4th gear I was pulling by him at a good pace. Every time we ran it was the same thing. Believe it or not my 15 year old neighbor gave me a better run on his bone stock z400. On his best run (15 year old neighbor on the z400) he said he started out in 2nd. To be honest at the time I never even thought about starting out in 2nd. Now that I think about it I probably could have done better in 2nd. Hey!! I am an old fart whos first quad is my shee. I rode 3 wheelers in the 80s but it was nothing like my shee (needless to say). I am an inexperienced 32 year old who has fallen in love with beating some thumpers asses in just 1 day. I know there are some serious runners in here who probably has heard this same story from their kids but nevertheless I felt I had to tell you all anyway. Much fun!!! If I could only learn how to ride my shee and get some tread I might could do better. I have mostly rode trails and obstacles but I soon found out that like racing as well. Just thought I would share my first kill with you all..

Cs10monkey
Im the 15 year old on the z400. I can ride fairly good for someone who has been riding for about 20 or so hours. Yeah the old banshee kills my stocker but i think i could get him with maybe a few mods. If i wanted to be fair i could spend the same amount of money on the same type of mods (exhaust, airfilter, jet, etc). It would come out to be more money due to the fact i have a newer model quad but its all in the fun we both enjoy are quads i give props to the banshee other then the damn dual carb thumb throttle and the clutch. BansheeBrian
Nothing beats a shee that has a load of cash poured to it.Wait till you start racing other shees, then its a level playing field and a whole new ball game. Congratulations on your wins.We are proud.

Cs10monkey
proud now disapointed later. I shall return MWUahhahahaha. no not really. Im just a lil 15 punk pothead that likes to chill wif me homie Jerry on his banshee. I would rather have the z400 just cause of the ezness of riding. My female like hands cannot bare to push the gas and deffanatly not the clutch on the beast.
BansheeJerry
You all have to admit my buddy has a sense of humor. He really has a future in riding . In the few months he has been riding he has had some of the most serious wrecks I have seen(and some I havent seen but heard about). On a good note he has really impressed me with his progress and skills in riding. I seriously wish I was in his shoes right now. A whole life ahead of him and admits he is a pothead at 15..... Thats really something to brag about.. On a brighter note in just a few months he has gone from nothing to a good rider.
Cs10monkey
Just to add a lil spice. (Jerry saw neither one). Anyway i was riding on the railroad track with my school friend on his 300ex (he has a 400ex but it would start) i think it sensed me coming and didnt wanna be put to shame anyway. I was behind him and i took a different route and pulled up next to him and i gave it some gas and launched ahead of him and i was turning left to get infront of him again and i didnt see it but there was about a 2 foot pile of dirt and i hit it with one side of the quad and it almost fuxed me up so that was a scared. Shortly before that lil adrenaline rush i was on the railroad about to cross the road and i saw jerry on the shee kinda fishtail a lil around the corner so i try to do the same but the power of my beast throws me into a quick haulting 180* spin in the middle of the road wich almost throws me off. Then about a hour later in a few drags between the quad in the feild me and jerry were owning. I was behind the crew chattin with a guy and i took off behind a kawasaki lakota wich was trying to catch up to the rest of the quads so we could meetup on the other side of the field to race. And i got going and pulled up next to him and we were riding at a angle at wich i could have hit the fence on the left side or i could have caught the dudes tire well needless to say i took the only route that came to mind (the guy) and going about 50-60mph my fatass got thrown off the quad tumblin like humpy dumpty. Got up and felt kinda embarassed but surprisingly i didnt feel any pain and as of now i havent noticed any scratchs other then a little on on my wrist.
