g-lo
i am thinking about putting in a +4 crank. i heard that you do not have to clearence the cases to put a +4 in? i do mostly woods riding. i was also thinking about puting in a stock crank with the long rods. does the +4 crank hurt your relibility? one guy told me that he has to rebuild about every 3 months and another told me he just does his top end every year. for the pistions i was going to use vitos ss problay .020 over stock. how much HP would i get with the +4 over the stock with long rods. Tucan Sam
The +4 crank will add some torque and smooth the powerband a lil. If youre worried about reliability you can use a long rod stroker. Hope this helps and remember to follow your nooose!
illboogie
whats a stroker
Tucan Sam
A stroker crank is a special crank that increases the stroke of your engine. When you increase the stroke the piston will ride higher and lower than the stock crank. Which is why you have to run a spacer plate or special domes to run a stroker. Hope this helps. And remember to follow your nooooose!
