tlh96
I'm getting a 421 cub built soon and was wondering if you needed to wait until after engine break in to get an accurate plug chop. I've watched all the videos I could find and think I got the process down but none of them mention if you could do the chop on brand new build. machinegunbanshee
Fast told me to jet rich. Needles full rich. Don't even bother with a carb sync. Take it out and warm it up and then ride it full throttle then let off, full throttle then off. Do this for about 20 minutes or so. You have a short window of time to get the rings seated in with the fresh cross hatching. This is also what was taught at the motorcycle mechanics institute. machinegunbanshee
After you get your carbs synced up, then you can start chopping plugs
