Kev Posted May 1, 2022 Report Share Posted May 1, 2022 02 Yamaha banshee how is it possible for my gears shift opposite from factory? example: factory gears shift 1 down 5 up… problem now shifts 1 up 5 down.. how is that possible? Only because that’s not a common problem so you might not find a solid answer. And if you’ve never rebuilt a full banshee motor, they’re really easy…just make sure you get the right center case gasket material and seal it up good. 375hp banshees Posted May 1, 2022 Report Share Posted May 1, 2022 ^^ you can pull it aprt w/o Disturbing the top end . just strap the crank to the top case somewhere, and remove bottom half of case, while upside down... After you drive it around, like that 1st. to see if there's anything else you need to do while you're Tearing it down. pending Getting ahold of OG owner for possibilities of why, no strange noises during take off, & putting around...
