BakoBanshee
Where is the cheapest place to get a set of these including the thumb throttle cable?
SICK BOY
I've seen some good deals on ebay.
thebloker
I looked around for a while and the lowest price that I found was from pro-flo.com. $120 a piece, brand new; but that is without the cable. I am sure that they could sell you the cable for only a couple of bucks more. You are going to love how easy it is to tune these things, you don't even have to take off the bowl to change the jets. There is a nut at the bottom that you un-do, and that opens right up to the main jet. The needle is just as easy to get at as well; 2 screws and off comes the top, the needle is right there. bigtreads
well part of my reason for trying a different carb setup is mine have some wear and the cables are shot. So if I have to replace the cables I gotta decide bettween the single carb or the duals. So if the 28's don't make much difference does the 30's ? Getting parts here is a pain so I mostly Ebay - there just happens to be some 30's on there at the moment so I was wondering. I like the idea of changing jet's easy - which was why I was leaning tward the single but apparently it's nearly as easy with the PWK's ??? thanks Norm
itsaripper
First off I hate paying full price for something I know is cheaper somewhere else. So go to your local Kawasaki dealer and ask for a price on a carb for a 2001 KX 100. Its a PWK 28. My local dealer said $102 each. But on www.powersportspro.com they are $92. You have to sign on to get in on that site but good price.
