seansy007 Posted April 29, 2021 Report Share Posted April 29, 2021 ^^^^ what he said lmao. when you "killed it " did it bog down and die/ something else. or did you just stall it? usually if it starts with a rolling/pull start but not with a kick. its a sign of low compression. i would also check to see that you don't have a bad ground somewhere. ( pull on the wires at the back of plugs check harness etc.) try new spark plugs because it could have spark but still not be enough to start. bansheesandrider Posted May 1, 2021 Report Share Posted May 1, 2021 When my aftermarket CDI box was failing, I had to tow start it when it was cold but could kickstart it when hot. It was NOT a compression problem. Sent the CDI box back to manufacturer and they warrantied it. Bought oem for the bike and kept aftermarket for a spare.
