Thenewguyonhere
Has anyone here ever had their banshee lose power after doing a power wheelie in 3rd or 4th gear? Ive noticed this problem with my banshee. If I pulled a 3rd gear or 4th gear wheelie, it would sound weird and loses power after a few seconds of having the front end up. It feels just like ive fouled a plug/ lost a cylinder but both cylinders are still running (smoke still comes about of both silencers equally). When that happens, I just bring the front end down and run and rev the bike for a bit and it goes back to normal. This only happens during a high speed wheelie. It doesnt happen when I wheelie in first or second gear. The bike also runs perfect on four wheels in all gears. No bogs or sputtering. My modifications : - Toomey T5 - Closed airbox with k&n filter. No snorkel. - +4 timing advance - Vforce 4s - main jet : 280 - pilot jet : 27.5 - dynojet needles on the 4th clip - air screws at 1 1/2 turns - floats are set at 21mm. I doubled checked with a digital caliper. Any idea on what the issue could be? Im lost since the bike runs perfect on four wheelies and only acts weird when the front wheels come up. caleb90
id say it sounds like its running out of fuel
Thenewguyonhere
Possibly. Im planning on swapping gas tanks to see if this issue is caused by a dirty/ slightly clogged fuel filter. Im also planning on checking the carb fuel level with the clear hose technic on the carb bowl drain. Maybe my float heights are off and the fuel level is low.
