2k7cheeta
Just putting my driveline crank in and noticed here’s a oring where the bearing retainer goes on the clutch side bearing. Do I just leave it like that or take the oring off and put the retainer in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ATV_hub
If they were an issue I would think driveline would have removed them or said they should be removed. They are probably fine but, I prefer the clip with some bearing retainer compound at it physically prevents the crank being pulled by the helical gears. the boris
That o ring is 20 cents and clip is $5.If you have retainer, replace the o ring. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
Tedder
Should use a retainer there. An old school "upgrade" on higher HP setups is to use 2 retainers. HQ sponsor F.A.S.T. Racing offers a full bearing clip option also but I prefer the two clip method.
